When did we start the first home?
The first home was the home located in Westminster. It started taking in people over thirty two years ago. The first person that was taken in was from Arizona. The person did not have a job and very poor at the time. With a little help from another person they purchased some clothes from a Goodwill store for $3 dollars. With in a day they found a job working for Toyota. Thirty two years later they are about ready to retire but still working for Toyota. Each year we have added more to what we do. Every few years we have added another home to our work.

Are there many success stories?
Yes there are many success stories. Many residents have gone on to be very successful. Many of the parents that lived in the homes have been reunited with their children. Many people that lived in the homes have moved on and are working in businesses that help other people. Many have started their own business. Some have continued to work in the same field. Some have chosen jobs in fields that are not related to our work. Over the years there have been hundreds and hundreds of success stories.

How do we do it?
A team of volunteers working together make it work. Many of our volunteers are previous residents that had lost everything. Some had given up hope that anything would change for the better in their lives. Some had lost everything. Some were battered, some were homeless, some had lost their children and some had lost contact with their family and real friends. By living in one of the homes, it permitted them to change their lives for the better and they did!

What is included for people living in the home?
All the homes have free wireless internet, free utilities, free home phone, free cable and lots of free food. Everyone living in the home has full kitchen and living room privileges. All the homes and rooms are fully furnished. Some of the homes have swimming pools and spa. Some of the homes have wonderful city lights and mountain views. All the homes have in the home washer and dryers. All the homes are with in a few miles of California beaches and shopping centers.

Who are we?
We are all volunteers that have lived or now live in one of the homes. We are a group of compassionate, hard-working volunteers that work together to help other people so they may also have the chance to put their lives back together. Over the years parents with children have become a very important part of our homes. Over half of the people that live in our homes are children living with their parent or parents.

How does a person enter the home?
Simple, just make a phone call to one of the phone numbers listed on the home page. Or call ( 714 ) 496-6464 or (949) 281-7448. The person you contact will talk to you and arrange for a meeting with one of the home leaders. The home leader will review what your needs are and then show you the home. There are not any added deposits required.

Where are the homes located?
The homes are located in the North, South and central parts of Orange County, California and also in Texas. All the homes are located in very safe and clean neighborhoods. Most of the homes are located close to shopping centers and bus stops. The homes in California are all located with in a few miles of California beaches. The homes in Texas are located in central Texas.

Is there a time limit on how long a person can stay?
We will never ask some one to leave because they stayed too long. Most of the people stay for a long time. There have been people that have lived in the homes for more than eight years. When there are children involved it becomes especially important for the parent to live in a longer term stable family type of home like our homes.

Do we take in adults with children?
Yes. We welcome adults with children. Children are an asset to the homes. The children living in the homes add to what makes each home a great home.

Do we take in couples?
Yes. We welcome couples with children and without children. Couples have become a large part of our homes and the sucess we have.

Do we take in women?
Yes. We welcome women with children and without children.

Do we take in men?
Yes. We welcome men with children in all of the homes. We take in men without children in some of the homes.

How do we keep the fees so low?
It is because of the volunteers that donate their time and abilities to keep the homes operating for the other people. The volunteers also have full and part time jobs. Most of the volunteers have families to take care of as well. All of the home leaders are made up of volunteers that live in the home. The volunteers work with government agencies, answer the phones, do interviews, help the residents and take care of the endless amounts of paper work.

Do I need to be sober to live in the home?
Yes. The people living in the home must be and remain sober. The homes are sober living homes. The homes are designed for sober longer term sober living. Family unit type living. For more information call

The homes are a sober living homes that welcome females. women with children, (mothers with children) couples, couples with children, men, men with children (fathers with children). We provide homes for people where recovery and progress take place in a sober environment. As a person goes through life they may find themselves in any number of unacceptable situations. Sometimes the unacceptable situation is just a lack of money, being abused or drug related. Many times it is very difficult to escape the situation with out a safe, low cost sober environment home to live in. If there are children involved it becomes even more difficult to find a suitable place to live. If the person remains in the unacceptable situation too long the situation may become even more unacceptable. Parents may loose their children to child protective services or other undesirable developments. Many times the children do not do well when this happens. Sometimes the parents can not recover from a situation that developed with out some type of home that provides a sober, safe, low cost place to recover. They may need time to improve their income or improve other situations. There are times when the only safety net that can help is a low cost, safe, sober environment home where they can recover from a situation. We provide the homes for people to recover from any number of situations that have devastated their lives and the lives of others. All of our home leaders living in the homes are volunteers. All the volunteers changed their lives by interring one of the homes years before and in turn will try and provide you with the same chance to change your life. Sober living homes, rehab homes and recovery homes are and have been the back bone of recover for many years. The first step of drug or alcohol recovery is for the person to accept they need help. Many times a person will move into a sober living home, rehab home or a recovery home before they are ready to accept they need help. Sober living homes, rehab homes and recovery homes come in many types. Some of the sober living homes, rehab homes and recovery sober living homes accept females only. Some sober living homes, rehab homes and recovery sober living homes only accept men. Some sober living homes, rehab homes and recovery sober living homes accept adults with children. Some sober living homes, rehab homes and recovery homes also detox people also. Some sober living homes and recovery sober living homes require thirty days or more sober time before a person can be accepted. Detox facilities are where a person goes for the first few day of not using drugs or alcohol. Detox facilities do not permit adults to have their children with them as they detox.
